Although I've encountered some less than nice people in World of Warcraft, the majority of my interactions with fellow Warcraft players have been positive. A little kindness can go a long way anywhere and Azeroth is no exception.
I started playing World of Warcraft shortly after Wrath of the Lich King came out so Death Knights will always have a special place in my heart. Ever since I learned that all races would have a Death Knight class option in Shadowlands, I've been wanting to make a Zandalari Troll Death Knight.
For the past few months, I've been battling Dunegorger Kraulok in Vol'dun on my 10 plus 120s hoping he'll drop the Slightly Damp Pile of Fur that translates to Mollie the alpaca mount. For as long as I've known about its existence, I've wanted to get the Vial of the Sands so my World of Warcraft characters could become a Sandstone Drake. Mind you, I'm not fond of flying mounts with wings because of all the flapping noises, but I figured being a dragon was worth the sound.
While I may sometimes feel that I'll never quite get certain parts of the game right, I don't consider myself forever a noob. I'd never done that dungeon before but we'd all purposely chosen to queue for a dungeon with a random group of people that may or may not know the dungeon, so calling me a scrub seemed unnecessary. But I know that there are unkind people in the game and in the world and that that will never change. I certainly won't let it change how I act either.
